Having used the DJI Mini 3 Pro, I can say it is an impressive Mini Series drone with excellent performance and fantastic features.

It was the first Mini drone from DJI to feature ActiveTrack and Obstacle Avoidance, and it came with excellent camera features, such as the vertical camera shooting, which made it a hit among first time and experienced drone users.

While you can easily get a drone and its controller and get to work as soon as possible, there are accessories that could take your drone flying experience to the next level.

My best Mini 3 Pro accessories include an Intelligent Flight Battery, a remote controller (RC), a charging hub, propellers, propeller guards and holders, a sun hood, and a microSD card. We also have ND filters for advanced imaging and the DJI Care Refresh.

To experience the most out of your drone, you should start by getting extra batteries-as many as you can depending on how you use your drone.

The DJI Mini 3 Pro uses a 7.38V Li-ion Intelligent Flight Battery with a 2453 mAh capacity. Its maximum flight time is 34 minutes, sufficient for exploring your surroundings without sudden power drops.

The 7.38V Li-ion Intelligent Flight Battery weighs approximately 80.5g, which is light enough not to increase the drone’s weight above the FAA’s 250g cap.

Its maximum voltage limit is 8.5, while the maximum charging power is 37W. Its energy is 18.1Wh.

The battery (mounted to the aircraft) is charged using a DJI 30W USB-C charger, which takes about 64 minutes. A USB power delivery charger is also appropriate. The battery’s charging temperature ranges 5°- 40° C (41° – 104° F).

Alternatively, fully charge the Intelligent Flight Battery using a DJI 30W USB-C charger in 56 minutes, but insert the battery in a DJI Mini 3 Pro Two-Way Charging Hub.

You can also get the Plus battery version for more extended flights. The Intelligent Flight Battery Plus offers 47 minutes of flight time at 6 m/s.

It also offers more maximum hovering time and flight distance than the standard version, 40 minutes and 25km, respectively.

The Mini 3 Pro’s Plus battery (mounted to the aircraft) takes about 101 minutes to charge fully using a DJI 30W USB-C charger. It charges in 78 minutes using the same charger, but insert the battery in a DJI Mini 3 Pro Two-Way Charging Hub.

Unfortunately, the Plus battery increases the drone’s weight to 290g, attracting the FAA registration requirements.

The DJI Mini 3 Pro Intelligent Flight Battery is also compatible with the DJI Mini 4 Pro, but it has lower power and increases the drone’s weight to above the 250g FAA limit.

In the case of a drone crash, one of the first parts of a drone to get damaged are the propellers. That’s why it helps to have an extra set of propellers.
